A Hair Trick

IMGP9932

I learned a new and nifty trick for curling hair with a flat iron: the more hair you use for each curl results in bigger curls. If that’s not any news to you, then forgive me for just learning about this and being so out of touch. AND HERE I WAS, about to buy one of those super wide irons. Don’t even need one. Tricks of the trade, my friends.

Also, would you like a list of things that make me feel bad about myself/motivate me, complete with PICTURES? Look no further than the Health & Fitness section of Pinterest.

From Braid to Wave

The secret of french braiding your hair over night is to not braid the ends too tight. If you do, it doesn’t look as good. I do this right after I shower. Since my hair is thick, I wake up, take the braid out, and my hair still is a little wet. I prefer it this way, since my hair settles a little as it dries and the waving looks more natural.

Je Veux

Tank from Forever21, cover up from Charlotte Russe.

This is what my hair looks like when I just wash it and don’t brush it or anything when I get out of the shower. If I brush it, it dries straight usually.

So the shirt says “Je veux faire du pied a toi,” which apparently means “I wanna play footsie with you” in French. Best. Tank. Ever.

I can’t believe I’m almost 21. It is crazy how fast time is flying! Everything just needs to slow down a little. I am growing up too fast.
