Congratulations to Maria for a huge success on her first post yesterday! Haven’t seen it?! Well, go read her fantastic post on a pair of $396 shoes that she made for $13! I couldn’t tell the difference, seriously.
Who’s Maria? Oh. Wait, who are YOU? Oh. But what even is this blog?

Would you like a drink from my invisible water cup?

Shoes by Forever Young Shoes (similar), the skirt I don’t know (but here’s something similar), shirt from Forever 21. I literally just bought this shirt on Saturday and I can’t find it anywhere on their website. Forever 21 is a nightmare sometimes. Earrings from Charlotte Russe (similar). Lipstick from Forever 21 (in Rose). More on the lipstick and some fake eyelashes I bought tomorrow.

I went to see “In Time” this weekend and I loved it. It was really cleverly done. Plus, Justin Timberlake, so…yeah. Best movie.
We’ve all heard the phrase “time is money.” It’s true–if you look at life as being one huge opportunity to make money. If that’s your reasoning, then yeah, any time that you’re spending doing something other than working (gaining money) can be seen as a monetary loss instead.
That seems like a really depressing way to look at the world. Those must be grumpy people, always thinking their literally paying attention, paying thanks, paying compliments and paying respect.
Although I do believe that our time should be well-spent, I also think it’s important to look at the world through unselfish eyes. I’d be willing to bet that if any of you chose to look at the world with the mentality of “what can I give people” instead of “everyone owes me,” you would find yourself much happier.
Or maybe I’ve been following the Dalai Lama on Twitter for too long…
November’s almost over! Make it count!
More photos from the shoot, including my three favorites (the last 3):
