Salt Lake City Weekend Part I

This weekend is going to be awesome! For those who MAY NOT KNOW, I’m a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (aka, I’m a Mormon). We’re having the super bowl of the LDS church this weekend: General Conference. I get to hear at least one session live at the conference center in Salt Lake with this one guy. <3

I have to say, I can’t wait to hear all the uplifting words and be inspired! This weekend…is going to be awesome!

Sometimes

Uploaded a new banner (as you can see up there)! Happy Spring!

Sometimes good things happen. Sometimes you wear jean on jean and it works.

Sometimes you’re too busy to do your laundry, so you leave it in the laundry room and come home to it washed, dried and folded on your bed.

Sometimes you hear a great song on the radio, assume it’s too difficult to play, but look it up and realize it only uses the chords you already know and learn it in a few minutes!

Sometimes the girls at work share their expensive nail polish.

Sometimes you go shopping and find exactly what your looking for.

Sometimes the fish you’re taking care of doesn’t die like you’re sure it’s going to any minute.

Sometimes you walk outside and are surprised by how nice of a day it is!

Sometimes life is headed in the right direction.

Sometimes I think we should pay more attention to the little things that happen in our lives.

New Hair and Shades

I got blonde added back into my hair. Turns out, I really like it! I’m going to be going back to California next week and it just seemed appropriate. I also bought Moroccan Oil for my dry ends, and it is a miracle worker. So I have three blonde panels in my hair now!

One Month of Ukulele

I learned this song this morning, so I feel pretty impressed. And also, after a whole month!! I don’t know how I lived this long without playing this little Uke!

Also, ignore that it’s out of focus and the two times in particular when I don’t sing on pitch. Kay thanks!
